Privacy notice

Plain English, because that's the point. There are two separate things here: the loadr tool you download, and this website.

The loadr tool collects nothing

The loadr binary ships zero telemetry. It does not phone home, check for updates, send usage data, or contact us in any way. It only ever talks to the targets you point it at. There is no account and no sign-up.

The website uses anonymous analytics — only if you accept

loadr.io uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, with IP anonymisation switched on. Analytics stays in a cookieless, denied state until you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored. Full detail is on the cookies page.

  • What: anonymised, aggregated page-view analytics. No names, no accounts, no advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • Why (lawful basis): your consent, which you give or withhold on the banner and can change at any time.
  • Who: Google, as our analytics processor. We don't sell or share data with anyone else.

Hosting

The site is served as static files via a content delivery network. Standard, short-lived server logs (for example IP address and request time) may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver the site securely and defend against abuse.

Your choices and rights

  • Change or withdraw analytics consent any time — see cookies.
  • Because the analytics is anonymised and there are no accounts, we hold no information that identifies you to action a data request against.
